Breast asymmetry correction is a highly individualized procedure focused on restoring balance, enhancing proportions, and helping patients feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies. While mild asymmetry is common and natural, more noticeable differences in breast size, shape, or position can affect confidence and make it difficult to find properly fitting clothing.

This procedure is tailored to the individual, as no two patients experience the same degree or type of asymmetry. During your consultation, Dr. Viezel-Mathieu will assess your anatomy, discuss your aesthetic goals, and create a personalized surgical plan. Depending on your needs, this plan may include breast augmentation, breast reduction, a breast lift, or a combination of techniques to achieve a harmonious result. In some cases, fat grafting may also be used to fine-tune symmetry or refine contour.

Surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia as a day procedure. The specific surgical techniques and incisions will vary depending on your unique anatomy and the treatment plan established.

Recovery will vary based on the extent of surgery but generally ranges from 2–4 weeks. Swelling and minor bruising are expected during the early healing phase, and patients are guided through a personalized recovery plan with close follow-up.
